Shook Ones – The Unquotable A.M.H.
In my mind, Seattle’s Shook Ones have always been the world’s greatest Kid Dynamite tribute band despite playing (to my knowledge, at least) zero Kid Dynamite songs, but with their new album The Unquotable A.M.H. the band has moved past that despite their singer still being a dead ringer for Jason Shevchuk. The Maine – Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop
I think I’ve hated on The Maine before (right here) because of their glossy and juvenile ultra-predictable mainstream power-pop lite but I’d be lying if I said that I totally hated their latest album Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop. The Sidekicks – Sam 7″
Last year The Sidekicks (from suburban Cleveland) released a killer four song 7” called Sam as a folllow up to their full-length So Long, Soggy Dog and it’s fuckin’ great.
