Another big blast from the past. My wife originally put “Sappy Song” and a whole bunch of other pop punk songs on a mixtape for me but I have no idea what ever happened to it. I was actually looking through boxes in our garage for it just last week and all I found were some Humdingers tapes. I also included “Bakersong” since I like it and since Mickey is such a good dude.

Hopefully anyone following the NCAA tournament and doing any March Madness Sports Betting didn’t put money on my Illini last weekend since they (as usual) fell apart at the end. Oh well, perhaps it’s time to fire Bruce Weber now.

Holy shit this one is awesome! One of my favorite Weasel songs, a few tracks from the Honest Don’s days, and way more. I’m not sure If I’ve ever told this story here, but I saw Diesel Boy with Strung Out at the Fireside Back in 1996 (maybe) and it had been raining all damn day long and was still raining when we left the show and headed for home. Anyhow, that was the night of the crazy floods in Chicago’s Western burbs. You don’t care, but whatever… and who doesn’t love Sloppy Seconds? Enjoy folks!
