Three months and a little effort

Howdy friends and strangers? How are you tonight? I just rattled off a little over 4 miles on the treadmill we keep in our basement and thought that I should share a few of the tunes that I routinely listen to when I’m jogging. I usually go for something fast and/or something powerfully inspirational to keep my pace fast and my spirits high.
I’ve certainly found those “go to” songs and albums over the past few months as I’ve increased both the intensity and duration of my workouts. Why have I been running so much? Well, because I was getting really fuckin’ fat and, as someone who ran the Chicago Marathon only 4 short years ago, I needed to get back into shape.
It seems to be working since I’ve lost just over 31 pounds since January 14th of this year and feel better than I have in some time. So here are two of the songs I like to listen to on my way back to a sub 20:00 5K. I’m nowhere near there yet, but ya gotta have goals, right? What do you like to listen to when you run?
MP3 | A Wilhelm Scream – 5 To 9 Career Suicide
