If you like pop punk and you aren’t listening to Teenage Bottlerocket, my questions for you are then, “Why the hell not,” “Are you crazy,” and, “You’ve gotta be smoking crack, right?” In short, the new album from these Laramie, Wyoming punks, They Came From The Shadows, shows exactly why they are the best band playing Ramones-influenced pop punk in the world today. It’s a bit harder-edged than their 2008 album Warning Device, but every bit as melodic, every bit as full-throttle, and catchier than the most potent strain of H1N1 flu. They Came From The Shadows was recently released by Fat Wreck Chords. Do I really need to write anything else? Really? OK. Here’s a bit more. It might not make any sense or give any additional commentary on the album, but hey, whatever, yeah, alright.

Teenage Bottlerocket - Don't Want To Go

I don’t make top ten list, but if I did for sure this record would be on it for this year. It makes me want to find my leather jacket and pogo.
