Just in case you didn’t follow my Twitter updates during the whole birthing process (and I’m assuming most of you didn’t) my second daughter, Teagan Reese, was born last Wednesday 07/08/09 at 7:23PM. This was after many hours of my wife trying to birth her naturally only to find out that she would need to have a cesarean section. So with that, there is much recovery time for my wife and (thus) much for me to do in order to keep things in order around here.
We got home on Friday night after waiting 6 hours (I’m not evern kidding) to be discharged. Wifey (despite being sore and uncomfortable) is doing well as is Teagan. As for nursing, well, I’m not even going to get into that here. Heck, I’ve probably already lost more than a few readers from the paragraphs above anyhow. So here are a few pictures from Teagan’s first few days:
Pretty cute, huh? I know, I’m the proud father so of course I think she’s cute. Did I mention that during the whole birthing process we listened to Fleet Foxes, The Wooden Birds, Getz/Gilberto, and afterwards Teagan (thanks to us) has listened to Ida, Jack Johnson, and Bob Marley. What next?

well heck, you didn’t lose me; i hope the nursing is going well. she is adorable – i love baby fuzz and little baby fingers that wrinkle and peel like little old men. yum.
congrats
Congratulations to all…Beautiful baby/beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing…

Congratulations to you all – she’s great! Will she grow up to ride a unicycle though?
Congratulations to all of you. We will all be waiting to hear updates once Mommy and Teagan have settled in at home!
Way to go, Eric (and Mommy). She’s a doll!
