While Gainesville, Florida might have the much larger and notorious autumn punk rock fest, Chicago certainly holds its own with the fourth year of Riot Fest. Seriously, what could be better than three days of punk rock in Chicago in October? Well, frankly, not much. Past performers include Naked Raygun, Sludgeworth, Dillinger Four, The Bollweevils, and many more. Not bad, eh? This year’s lineup includes the likes of The Lawrence Arms, The Bouncing Souls, Shot Baker, Big Drill Car, The Ergs!, Static Radio NJ, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, ALL, Jay Reatard, Paint It Black, Zero To Sixty, Teenage Bottlerocket, and more… something like 40+ bands in total.
