Review: The Dead Jettsons – What Future? EP

I’m not usually a huge fan of anything with much of a garage-rock flavor but there is just something about The Dead Jettsons. Hailing from Middlebury, VT, the band has an EP out now called What Future? that combines the revved-up energy of garage-rock with an almost psychedelic metal/folk vibe and poppy dance-punk in a way that is strikingly different that just about anything else I’ve heard lately. It makes comparisons tough and you all know I love comparisons so for me to be tongue-tied is a real feat. Sure I could get all “crossed with” on yer ass but how about simply listening to the song below and judging for yourself?
