Review: One Win Choice – Define/Redefine EP

Guess what folks? The guys in New Jersey’s One Win Choice are back with a tasty slab of 7” wax featuring three new songs of fast and ferocious melodic hardcore that makes me wanna bounce around a pit and pump my fist in the air as I sing “woah oh oh.” Yeah, this is some of the good stuff. The gritty vocals, searing guitars, and pounding rhythm section drip passionate energy with every note. When describing One Win Choice’s last full-length Never Suspend Disbelief I said that the record had “just enough of a rough/sloppy edge that makes the band sound more like friends than just punks with razor-sharp rhetoric, though they are that too” and that still holds true here with Define/Redefine. Get the three song 7” now from Jump Start Records on clear vinyl and you’ll get a digital download with two extra songs not found on the 7”. RIYL: Strike Anywhere, Anti-Flag, Bigwig, etc…
