After the amazing season finale of LOST’s fifth season, I’m pretty much spent. Even so, I can break y’all off a lil’ somthing. Here goes. Last year Tallahassee, Florida’s Lipona released their debut full length Atlas and are now back with a new 5 song EP called Pigeonholed. It is full of the sort of melodic punk that feels like mid 90’s Fat Wreck Chords pop-punk meets mid 90’s East coast melodic hardcore and did I mention the band is offering it up for free on their MySpace page? They are. If you like blistering drums, melodic yet understated vocals, shredding guitars and the energy of being young fueling your music then Pigeonholed might be right up your alley.
