To say that the 32 second intro of this EP is silly is putting it mildly, but (like the rest of this EP) it’s fun. Fun like doing the “I’m blind and I’m hardcore” dance or any other number of silly hardcore moves. No, this isn’t jokey like ISHC but… on the EP, New Jersey’s Jumpercable blasts through 9 songs of almost laughably derivative old school hardcore in about 10 minutes but it’s done well enough that I don’t even care. Predictably, it is full of fast parts that are punctuated with moshy tough-guy breakdowns that could probably incite a riot in just about any pit. And unless your name is Quick Draw, I dare you to have more fun in 10 minutes. So if you like In My Eyes, CIV, Ten Yard Fight, or even Black Flag you should try this on for size.
