Review: Deny Everything – Fire This Time

I’ve been listening to the album a lot (A LOT!) lately and it is a furious blast of melodic hardcore from Cologne’s Deny Everything. That’s right, these guys call Deutschland home and they sound a ton like Kid Dynamite and/or Paint It Black. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Yeah. The vocals have a little more rasp and less growl than Shevchuk’s but the similarities are still there. So on Fire This Time Deny Everything rips off 15 hardcore songs in just over 20 minutes with absolutely zero filler forcing you to play the whole thing over again and again… It is a rapid fire pummeling assault with catchy, melodic, fist-pumping breakdowns that is awesome… amazing… or whatever you want to call it. Deny Everything also has a new EP out now.
