My daughter is sick but Kanye and Daft Punk are too

This post should have been written yesterday evening but is, instead, a day late. We had just put our sick little Hailey (who is, as of this morning, on antibiotics) to bed and I was jogging along quite contentedly on the treadmill and watching the Grammys and pondering, “What the fuck is this circus shit,” during the Beatles thingy.
Then Kanye West and Daft Punk came on and I stopped jogging long enough to watch what had to be the performance of the night (although Foo Fighters weren’t bad and Tina Turner looks damn good for 68). Anyhow, when I was done jogging I went upstairs to find Amy rocking Hailey on the recliner because the little one woke up crying due to the fact that she is filled with mucus and other nasty stuff and can’t breath for shit when she’s laying down.
So instead of posting last night I ended up rocking Hailey as she slept in my arms for about three hours and then bringing her up into our bed while Amy slept on the couch (her choice). What a night.
