I got up Saturday morning and printed some how-to instructions that I thought might give me a little guidance during this whole learrnign to ride a unicycle business. I followed the instructions as best I could, but since I didn’t have any fences or other objects I could hold onto, I just mounted the unicycle while holding onto the cars in the garage. It wasn’t really enough room, but it was all I had.
I practiced rocking back and forth and occasionally making Ã¥? rotations for almost an hour and was starting to (I think) get a feel for balancing on the unicycle. Then I got a little overzealous and tried to ride unsupported. About a half revolution later I was on my ass. To make matters worse I jammed my right wrist as I braced my fall and even now (2 days later) it still hurts. So it goes without saying that I’m not even going to try to do simple stuff on the unicycle without wearing wrist guards. I won’t be doing much (or any) more until I get a little something to prevent me from breaking myself.
