It came from the nineties (Vol. 49)

Okay, a few of these songs might be a stretch. The first one, Pavement’s “Cut Your Hair” got a tiny little bit of airplay on the so-called modern rock radio during the 90’s but Pavement isn’t really a band that belongs on the list. And even though “Regret” was released in 1993 and was New Order’s biggest U.S. single, they are still (to me) a band of the 80’s and Factory Records. And even though STP turned into a pile of shit, “Sex Type Thing” is a pretty rockin’ song. Did you purposefully neglect Luscious Jackson’s Naked Eye for Citysong? An song of the year in ’96 – or have you posted it before? In fact I need it.
