The Queers have a new DVD called The Queers Are Here that will be released on 2/20/07. I have been a fan of The Queers since about 1995. These guys are fast, raw, straight-up punk rock. I fell in love with them around age 17 and even though I am now 29, they can still make me bop my head and sing along. This DVD is a great way to celebrate the queers last 20+ years…and they’re still going strong. Joe King has always stood by his punk rock morals and I have to respect him for that. He’s been around the block and continued doing what he loves, without, “Oh no!” “Selling out!” It doesn’t get any better than this kids.
