I just got off the treadmill and during my little jog I was jamming out to Facetious Folly Feat the latest album from Seattle, WA’s excellent Shook Ones. It is punk rock in the same vein as Kid Dynamite. In fact, some people might actually mistake this for a KD record. Simply put, the music of Shook Ones is fast with gruff and snotty vocals and filled with just enough hooks and breakdowns to get your head nodding. Seriously awesome shit here, Facetious Folly Feat is out now on Revelation Records plus they have a new split EP with Easel on the Japanese label Alliance Trax.
