I love Fifteen, but I can’t imagine Jeff Ott fronting a band like New York’s Caleb Lionheart. It just ain’t right, but the singer does sound a bit like Jeff Ott (in tone only, not in lyrical content) and/or the dude from Unwritten Law here on the Think Hardcore, Play Pop Punk EP. The name says it all folks; this is poppy melodi-pop-core. It’s well played and catchy without really being all that memorable. It’s not that Caleb Lionheart is bad at all, they aren’t. In fact, this is a pretty solid EP, but it’s just that they sound like every other band in this genre. Maybe that’s just how all these little sub-genres of music work, right? Bands who sound exactly like other bands. I guess it’s better than the radio, right? But, seriously, is it just me or are the vocals way too fucking loud on this?

Caleb Lionheart - Rules Of Attraction

Sounds like a demo. Sounds like dude is just reading a long string of song titles and lines from all his favorite pop punk songs. I hate to sound like the jaded old guy, and the truth is that I kind of into this song but maybe it’s just because it’s so damn familiar, or that the vocals are SO FUCKING LOUD!
I agree whoever mixed it wasn’t paying attention
