So I was at the wedding of former bandmate and Allister drummer/guitarist/singer Tim on Friday night and saw a ton of old friends I haven’t seen in awhile including every former member of the band. We saw most of the EIU crew and realized that getting old isn’t all that glamorous. It was a great time but I had way too much to drink and only realized the following day that I’m getting too old to drink like I used to. You know, like back in the day at Tim’s place in Charelston where we would get really really really drunk. My head hurts just thinking about it all.
So when Allister was still pretty unknown and we were all at school, Tim played in a band called The Conways (and, yes, their Geocities page is still active) with some friends who were also in bands (The Cynix and Summer League) in a way that didn’t sound dissimilar to Allister at all. In fact, Mike ended up playing drums for Allister. So to commemorate Tim’s big day, I thought I’d post the entirety of their way way way outta print Falling Short EP that was released in like 1999 maybe?
