    my favorite warped tour band:
    ANBERLIN!!!!!

    why?:
i was introduced to this band last year while i was at university and OH BABY!!!! they are awesome . . my favorite album is Never Take Friendship Personal, but their new album Cities is pretty good too…
more importantly, these guys bring something different to the table; almost every song is catchy and they know how to split up their emo/rock style with their more mellow/’i can listen to them while studying for exams and then sing the songs in my head during exams’ type of music haha!
I definitely look forward to hearing them live sometime soooooooooon!

I’d have to go with an oldie but a goodie, Bad Religion. I’ve always loved how they combine the punk attitude with intelligent ideas. Greg Graffin’s lyrics inspire me beyond belief although I have to admit sometimes I have to look up some of the words that he chooses. I wish I could have made it to warped tour to see them this year but my funds ran a little short. They’re punk legends and I hope they keep pumping out great tunes!

Mayday Parade is by far the best. I think a great band is defined by their ability to give someone a rush! the second the second the music is played. I’ve only been able to say that a few bands have given me a rush! and pushed me to the point of no return, but Mayday Parade. The only band to ever move me to because the emotion in the delivery of the lyrics is so powerful they’re amazing. No matter what your mood, Mayday Parade is always perfect for it, and will always have the emotion to make you feel the words, not just hear them… a trait that too many artists lack today. They also continue as a band after the departure of jason there beloved singer. They keep it strong and I love every minuter of them! thats why they are my favorite Warped Tour band.

I’m going with ALKALINE TRIO. Memories of sweating my ass off piss-wasted, screaming the words to Goddamnit and other oldies at the Fireside and Sidedoor [st. louis venue] are some of the best punk show memories I got. You could tell it was an exciting time for the band too. Looking forward to their new album…

Alkaline Trio ’cause I’ve loved them for a long time. Their old stuff is better than the new, but the new is still great.

I like Coheed and Cambria, but only because the Wife gets mad when I play something that wakes the baby.
