So I do realize that this is sorta (in a way) a repeat of Vol. 17 but hey, c’mon, cut a guy a break. Slapstick was like my favorite band at one point in my youth. So yeah, Slapstick was the band back in the day and I’ve listened to Lookit! so many times I can still sing along to every word of every song. So back when Asian Man Records released the 25-song self-titled Slapstick CD (which was basically Lookit! with a few new songs at the beginning and some older songs added to the end). I found it odd that there were a few omissions from the CD like the legendary “I Hate Girls” which (until recently) I only had a copy of on a cassette tape from over 10 years ago, “Guy Smiley” from the Super Hero 7”, different versions of “The Man” and “My Only Friend,” from the It’s A Ska Luncheon: Pick It Up comp (available here if you care, and two songs (“Yellow Plaid” and “Brother Man”) from a split with Tommyrot (featuring former Alkaline Trio drummer Glenn Porter and Sean from Apocalypse Hoboken I think). The songs from the Tommyrot split are such bad quality and aren’t really worth listening to, but here they are anyways. If you’ve got better quality versions of those two, please let me know as that is the one 7” of theirs I don’t own. Here goes:
MP3 | Slapstick – I Hate Girls
MP3 | Slapstick – Guy Smiley
MP3 | Slapstick – The Man
MP3 | Slapstick – Yellow Plaid
MP3 | Slapstick – Brother Man

This is awesome. Thank you.
