It is gonna be hot as hell this weekend for the Pitchfork Music Festival. Hopefully things cool down in Chicago a little for next weekend’s Lollapalooza. One band that I will hopefully get to see again (for the first time in probably 8 years) is Poi Dog Pondering. Virtually unknown outside of Chicago, they are an eclectic blend of rock, various world musics, and electronica. Be sure to check them out if you get the chance.
