Review: The Tim Version – Decline Of The Southern Gentleman
Who is The Tim Version and what does their record Decline Of The Southern Gentleman have to do with anything? Well, it’s just like me to “officially” review an album after including it on my best of 2008 list (at #47), so here is that too little too late review. Let’s just start by saying (Read more…)
Another Round of Goodies From the Record Pile
I always know that just about anything released on Secretly Canadian Records will be quality and A Certain Feeling, from Bodies Of Water, is no exception. What elves do in their down time
This is the amazing Christmas card that my brother and his wife sent out this year and, yes, that’s my brother wearing the elf suit. Note the bottle of Busch beer in his hand, very classy. Just remember that if he smells like beef and cheese he ain’t the real Santa.
Review: Tim Barry – Manchester
As someone that has been listening to Richmond, Virginia’s Avail for over a dozen years now, it should come as no surprise that I like Tim Barry but I’ll be honest here that as much as I love Avail, it took seeing Tim Barry live and in-person at the Revival Tour earlier this year for (Read more…)
