When the two hearted ale don't flow -

So I asked one of the beer guys, "This may be a dumb question, but where is all the Bell's beer?" His response was that Bell's ceased distribution of their products to Illinois as of October 12, 2006. WTF? Where has all the rude beer gone? I (sadly) settled for some Goose Island instead.
When we got home, I jumped on the interweb for some confirmation and here it is. Read all about why Bell's is no longer selling beer in Illinois and make plans for a road trip to Kalamazoo.
All beer realated issues aside, here are two children's songs for you and your kids to listen to. Oh yeah, one is a version of "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Broken Social Scene.

best beer in here is corona of course.
Have you heard the broken social scene's uncut version of puff? amazing one.
that sucks!
well, if you guys are going to road trip it to kalamazoo, at least stop by lansing as well (a little bit more of a drive by an hour and a half, but at least come up and say hello sometime. you guys are always welcome to come up and check out the scene here.
as for bell's, i really really love oberon. but it's not in season anymore. (i do want to try their winter ale though. it sounds delicious.)
one more reason to consider colorado = fat tire is EVERYWHERE. flows like water in these parts, being brewed locally. We love it.
:)
i got my rewinds cd! thanks, cystsfts!!
Oh no! Terrible, terrible news about Bell's. Oberon is probably my favorite beer, though all Bell's is good.
Rumor has it if you make the road trip from Illinois and present your ID, that your entire purchase will be discounted 50%
