While it is a bit of a departure for me to get caught up in the latest indie pop craze, I just couldn't resist the hype surrounding Bishop Allen's 2006 ep-a-month project. While it is ambitious to release a 4-song EP every month for a year, my first reaction was that there would just be a lot of mediocre songs.
Now I haven't heard all that many of the songs, but "Click Click Click Click" from the July EP is flippin' fantastic. Listen to the song only once and I dare you not to be singing along by the second chorus. It is pure genius. Since my wife and I take way too many pictures, I can see this song getting

This series of EPs has got to be one of indie rock's biggest success stories this year. Each of these releases has really good stuff.
I am psyched that Bishop Allen is playing Boston very soon!
